Social Event Manager

- Responsible for planning and executing all social events on campus. Events require hiring vendors, handling contracts, invoices, budget tracking and all other event logistics to provide fun events for students.
- Point of contact for enrichment registration, scheduling, and related operations.
- Contributor to seasonal enrichment guides and other department communication
- Developer for a leadership enrichment program for students in grades 6-12. Additionally, I served as the advisor to the club for the past year. The club aims to empower students to learn how to engage with the student body and create events to boost school spirit and unify the school. Students are given the opportunity to lead a committee and take on the responsibility of running events and leading weekly meetings. Events include dances, spirit weeks, and game nights.

My internship focused on the renovation of the museum’s history gallery, a space that had
been unchanged since the 1990s.Work included data collection, exhibition research, gallery installation anddeinstallation, fabrication and testing of prototypes, and designing of interactive elements. I was responsible for executing several projects that contributed to current exhibition elements.

Each week I am a part of an acrylic painting class called Paint This! as either an assistant or a
teacher. As a teacher I walk the class through how to re-create a painting I had prepared prior

Volunteer work included gallery installation and de-installation: painting, hanging artworks, retouching walls, taking inventory, wrapping up artworks. My work included administrative work from answering phones, emails, scheduling and filing. I was also a committee member for a newly created space called the Sesnon Underground. As a committee member I supervised shows in a student run gallery space. I helped to create an application processes, select proposals, maintain a website, and oversaw installation and de-installation.
